If you have bought a new phone and now want to transfer all the data across. The Samsung Smart Switch app is easy to use and will allow your new phone to have all your information in minutes.
Android/Samsung
Here is a step by step guide:
1. Go to play store, search Samsung smart switch.
2. Download it (it’s free).
3. You need to download it for both devices.
4. Open smart switch on both devices.
5. Select “Android”on both phones, then click start.
6. Select on the old device as “sending device” and the new device as “receiving device”.
7. Click connect.
8. You can select what content you want to transfer by selecting and unselecting.
9. Click “Send” on old device followed by “Receive” on new device.
10. The information will now begin to transfer.
11. Click finish, you are done.
It is a very quick and easy way to transfer your data from an Android/Samsung to a Samsung device.
iOS (iPhone), the iCloud way (Wifi required)
1. Back up your iPhone device to iCloud. (check out our guide)
2. Download Smart switch on your new Samsung device.
3. Open Smart switch.
4. Select start and then select agree.
5. Select iOS as “old device”.
6. Import from iCloud.
7. Enter apple id and password.
8. You can select what content you want to transfer by selecting and unselecting.
9. Tap import.
